If you are looking for a secluded getaway, within an hour's drive from Johannesburg or Pretoria, you will find STONE HILL nestled among the hills of the Magaliesberg.Situated on a private bushveld farm and perched high above the distant village of Magaliesburg, Stone Hill offers 7 top class, fully equipped and luxurious self-catering timber cottages, accommodating from 2 to 8 guests each . All have open plan lounges, fully fitted kitchens, bedrooms and full bathrooms. There are LCD TV's with DSTV in all of the units. Each cottage has a large patio and braai area and each is spaced far apart from the next cottage and is completely private.In winter we keep you warm and cosy with electric blankets and indoor log fireplaces!We are family and pet friendly and welcome children of all ages and most breeds of house trained and socialized dogs and other pets by arrangement. Each cottage and its garden is entirely encompassed by a fence for your pet's peace of mind! The small splash pool is within easy reach of the cottages and the view down the valley is breathtaking.

For the romantics, there is the newly renovated luxurious Jacaranda Garden Suite a private self catering unit with full DSTV, in a separate wing next to the main house, accommodating a maximum of 2 guests .

We have introduced a 5 km walking trail where you can fully experience the peace and tranquility of the veld and your dog/s can run unleashed. There are benches along the way for the weary to sit and catch their breath! Please remember to pack water bowls and drinks for the walk! We require dog owners to please remember to keep rabies jabs up to date and that dogs are medicated for ticks and fleas before coming to Stone Hill.

There is a wide variety of indigenous small game and birdlife at Stone Hill. A number of sightings include Jackal, Duiker, Warthog, Porcupine, Snakes, Ticks, Scorpions, Bats, Vultures, a large variety of insects and birds. You need to walk carefully and quietly to see them as they are notoriously shy! For the flora lovers, a mosaic of indigenous plants can be seen on the farm.

• Cancelation 0 - 14 days before date of arrival, or no-show means guest forfeits 100% of deposit paid - refer to NCPA No.68 - 2008 - Sec 17.
• Cancelation 15 - 28 days before date of arrival – guest forfeits 75% of deposit paid or 25% of full quote value (whichever greater)
