Magaliesburg Wild Game Farm is situated in the old Magaliesburg Nature Reserve and bird life is abundant. Game includes kudu,
blesbok, impala, hartebeest, zebra, ostriches, grey duikers, warthogs, as well as night prowlers such as porcupines, honey badgers,
servile cats, jackals.
Easy day drives to Maropeng, Pilansburg, Sun City, Rhino and Lion Park, Sterkfontein Cave, Harties, Rustenburg. There are many
quaint shops and restaurants in Magaliesburg area. Magaliesburg is 20km from the farm.
Activities on the farm include walking or hiking the game farm, it is safe, there is a marked Forest Walk. Secluded bush pool
overlooking the magnificent Magaliesburg Mountains. Picnic area etc. You can bring your mountain bike but rather leave the
motorcycles at home the animals are used to people close to them and we would like to keep it that way.
The fully self-catering accommodation on the farm is in the form of one Luxury Cottage the Loerie Cottage sleeps four to
six people, Bush Camp for a real bush experience no electricity, solar powered only, gas stove and warm water the Leopard Bush
camp two cabins and rooftop tent sleeps four to six people and two Cabin Style Cottages the Sunflower Huts sleeps four.
Note that the Bush Camp is in the bush and your luxury vehicle might not get there without having a tummy scratch.
A Game drive is included in you stay if the driver is available. The first batch of firewood is provided thereafter you can purchase
it from the farm. There is a resident Jack Russel on the farm and occasionally three very friendly over eager staffies. On day of
departure you may stay until early evening if there is no booking for the following day.
With a beautiful view of the Magaliesburg Mountains, Magalies Wild Game Farm features some fun and exciting things to do
for young and old. Activities include bird and game watching, game drives (self driving is possible with a 4x4), walking trails
and sunset viewing at a picnic site.

Game drives in the evening are included if there is a driver available. The first
batch of firewood is supplied, thereafter you can purchase wood
on the farm, which is ideal for those wanting a quiet bush getaway. There is a resident bulldog, staffie, and worshondjie on the property.
On the day of departure you may stay until 18:00 pm but if there is a booking for the following day, you will need to vacate
at 11am for cleaning purposes. In addition, we have hypnotherapy guidance if you want to stop smoking.
