Quaint wooden cabin in the beautiful valley of Hekpoort , on the Magalies River . The cottage is surrounded by the sounds of nature – the haunting call of a jackal and a chorus of bullfrogs is our music at night.
One of the few places where fire-flies can still be seen in the evening.
Fully equipped, 2 bedrooms. No TV, as the surrounding sounds of nature is what we want our guests to enjoy at night. (we hear jackals nearly every evening) . A wooden deck over looks the river.

A boat is moored in front of the cottage for our guests. Experience a beautiful sunset, rowing on the Magalies River .

Activities at ‘There's a river on my stoep are; Bird watching, boating, ‘catch and release' fishing and feeding our ostriches, Nguni cattle, horses, tame guinea-fowl, peacocks and emu's.
