We have introduced a 5 km walking trail where you can fully experience the peace and tranquility of the veld and your dog/s can run unleashed. There are benches along the way for the weary to sit and catch their breath! Please remember to pack water bowls and drinks for the walk! We require dog owners to please remember to keep rabies jabs up to date and that dogs are medicated for ticks and fleas before coming to Stone Hill.
There is a wide variety of indigenous small game and birdlife at Stone Hill. A number of sightings include Jackal, Duiker, Warthog, Porcupine, Snakes, Ticks, Scorpions, Bats, Vultures, a large variety of insects and birds. You need to walk carefully and quietly to see them as they are notoriously shy! For the flora lovers, a mosaic of indigenous plants can be seen on the farm.
