Impressions Retreat offers you a true getaway from the city. Ideal for bush lovers, the self catering wooden cottage is nestled in the surrounding foothills of the Magaliesberg range on the R24. This secret hideaway with breathtaking views offers a romantic, private, rustic getaway, furnished with hand-crafted wooden furniture reflecting the surroundings.

The self catering Cottage with small safe and alarm system accommodates a maximum of 4 people, ( 2 adults with children) or 3 adults, with queen size bed and 1 single bed. An Additional Single Bed can be added to the open plan 36m2 interior. The en suite bathroom is simple, elegant and spacious with a shower. Towels are provided.

The kitchenette is equipped with a small mini fridge, two plate gas hob, microwave and toaster. All basic crockery and cutlery is provided. Enjoy your own cosy fire pit and braai area. Retreat from the rush to experience the mysterious bush and natural game roaming the area. You may unexpectedly come across jackal, bush pig, porcupine, buck, spotted genet and other species of game.

Laze around, read or discover the surroundings. Potter around the Hex River, cool down in the swimming pool, or for the more energetic, enjoy a hike on one of the trails Activities: Hiking, birding, picnics, swimming pool. Mountain bikes are welcome. We regret No Quad Bikes.

The majority of venues will require a 2 night stay over weekends and a minimum stay of 3-4 nights over a long weekend. Once a reservation has been made with Unwind, a deposit must be paid by the due date (usually within 12hrs) and proof of payment must be sent to either Unwind or the venue. Without the deposit or proof of payment received by the due date, Unwind and the venue concerned cannot hold the reservation. Full details will be supplied, along with directions, once you make your reservation.
